1 which I have never used, because I don't need to.
I have a debit card for my main bank account which I use, and a debit card for my second account which I also use, but I don't see the point in using a CC when I have a debit account with money in it.
The CC is "just in case".

CC's give you cash back, rewards, miles etc. Plus it helps build credit. Atleast that's why I use mine.

1. Paid off every month in full.

Credit Card Companies call people like you (and Ben Stein) "deadbeats".

I still haven't paid a single cent of interest to a CC company since I've gotten one. No need to give them more money than I need to. :)

Mine gives me air miles, but I'm about to go to Uni next year, so I don't have money to spend really, and I wouldn't have money to spend on going on holiday either.

0. I've had bad experiences in the past. I don't think I'll ever have more than 1 at a time in the future.

Too many. Don't use but one of them and only for the cash rewards it provides. Don't owe on any. Maybe time to remove a few of those that I picked up for promotional reasons.

just one (Providian Visa). I don't get any rewards and stuff from them. I most likely will never get another card unless there are some great bonuses and stuff but at the moment I have 3K in debt that I will pay off by October (if not sooner).

i dont think you get what a credit card can do for you...

you have to spend money on your debit card to live, right? if you buy everything you would normally buy on the credit card and have it automatically pay the balance every month from your bank account, it is acting exactly like a debit card. the difference is with a credit card you can get rewards. i got 600 dollars at christmas from my credit card points and it is money i had to spend throughout the year anyway.

its also nice because you get to keep your money a whole month longer and earn more interest. it doesnt add up to a lot, but over the course of last year i got 45 dollars in interest from the money sitting in my account an additional month before it was used to pay off my credit card balance.

also, gas cards are an incredibly good idea. it makes NO sense to buy gas without a credit card for that gas station. you HAVE to buy gas no matter what, so why not get a gas card that is FREE and gives you FREE gas after X number of purchases? i just dont understand why people dont do that...i get 15-20 dollars of free gas every few weeks because i have a credit card at shell and exxon, so i only go to those 2 places.
