You have an FX-6300 or FX-6350, no?

It's a triple-module, six-"core" CPU. I believe AMD had to pay out on a settlement, because it was claimed that the FX series didn't "really" have as many cores as claimed. Of course, deciding what is actually a "core" can be a technically-dicey decision, with some modern architectures. AMD's CMT (clustered multi-threading), as used in BullDozer and derivatives, is one example of that, with more-or-less two integer "cores" per module, and both sharing one FPU.
