When I'm in the dorms, just my computer (roommate doesn't count since I barely talk to him :p). When I'm at home for the summer/spring break/whatever, it's 3 - including my brother's and mom's computers.

Wanna get rid of one of those so I can play XCOM? My 486/DX2 80 just crapped out on me. :p

Depends upon whether we're counting ones that are mine or the ones that are my housemates. If we're just counting personal ownership I have three in the house (two other's at my parent's on loan). Namely a P4 3.0Ghz, a PII 233 (fileserver) & a PowerTower Pro 225 (PPC 604e). I don't really count PocketPCs as PCs but if we want I guess I could add my Axim X30 Advanced to the mix. If we count total in the household we're looking at six.

Just counting my standard x86 kit, that's 2 servers, and 2 desktop PCs, although 1 hasn't been plugged in yet.

That's not a lot, but you should see the size of my room. It's a matchbox.

As one of the people who didn't start this thread, I can officially say that yes, parts piles count. :D

i'm surprised no die-hard folders or any of the other "donate your CPU time to science" people have showed up to say "I have 49 computers and my house is always 100 degrees F in the winter" :D

EDIT: i cannot type...

Two.

XP 1700+ running XP for general/family use
P2 400 running Ubuntu for my use, in my room.

Partial PCs really shouldn't count, but if they did, my total would be about 5. I have a Cyrix 586-100 and a P133 sitting right next to me.
