25. That's more than I thought. I don't watch many movies, but good horror is a favorite genre.

but any list that has "you're next" on it as a classic (or even a movie worth watching) is a pile of shit list. one of the worst movies i've ever seen.

39. Only saw one after 2000 lol. I'm a big fan of Hammer Film Productions. I just like the cinematography of that era...........

A lof of flicks on that list seem to be more gore-fests than horror tho *shrugs*

33 hm, I have some catching up to do. A lot of the movies on that list are absolute crap though. Ginger Snaps and The Last Exorcism are most definitely not classics.

72, but I don't care too much for the list. A lot of flicks I don't exactly consider horror, and they missed quite a few that really should have been there. The whole list, especially once you hit the 90s just feels like a fairly random selection of movies. Some really good or at least bigger horror flicks that didn't make it.

53, and there's a lot of recent ones I've never seen.

I think they are stretching the word "Classic" quite a bit.

53 myself, but ya, the list is odd.

Some on there I'd never heard of and lots missing that I'd consider classic.

I've seen most of the 1970's+ ones that are actually horror, and a few of the ones that aren't. I've only seen a few of the black and white ones.

Some of the 1990+ ones are probably just some of the writer's favorites, though, because I haven't heard of several of them. Not a bad job, though, probably a few I haven't seen that I will check out because of the intriguing pictures.

80 of 102. I own a handful of the ones I have not seen yet, just need to get around to watching them. This is an awesome list. Glad to see Martyrs made it; just re-watched it and that movie is badass.

Nice, that's one on the list I hadn't seen, but looked good. I will have to snag it sometime this week

23, and I'm not a big Horror fan.

Motel Hell isn't on the list :p. Well, I guess it was a horror-comedy.

I stopped clicking when I saw they included "Jaws" as a horror movie. Looking through the list, a handful of other movies are similarly classified incorrectly.

Near Dark wasn't either, there are many I would have substituted.

*shrug*

Jaws horrified many people out if the water at the time and was pretty gory in it's day, was surprised to see it there but I'd say it qualifies.

No The Exorcist either unless I missed it.

*edit* my bad its there.

Let the Right One In has been one of my favorites to watch now and then myself, Suspiria I like to watch now and again, the ole Argento.

I guess they aren't doing rehashes, I think I liked Phantasm II more than I.

No My Bloody Valentine. The original one I mean.

I actually liked Ginger Snaps a lot till the end, then it looked like they ran out of money for special effects on the Alpha Wolf.

several movies are missing: The Innocents, The Legend of Hell House, Prom Night, My Bloody Valentine, Salem's Lot, etc....

Not to mention the anthology movies from Hammer et al.

I hit 50 right off the bat; thought I'd end up with 80 or 90. Then it was "nope, nope, nope, nope..." Is it coincidence that I just recently watched quite a few of them on Youtube that I had never seen before? Nosferatu, Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and a few others just appeared on Youtube within the past few weeks. (Also, had this discussion with someone else - if I see that a movie like that is on Youtube and watch it there, is it some sort of copyright violation? Is the MPAA going to send me nasty notes?)

No. You only get a nastygram if you uploaded it, and maybe not then. Some of those oldies are public domain now, but it's a shamefully low number. 1923 is the magic year. Before that is public domain, and after that requires research.

87 of them, and the most not watched by category are the foreign language ones.

It's kind of a random list at times, and I can still think of a lot better entries for some of it.

I got 73 but only because I only watched some movies half way so I decided to not check it. Never seen Martyrs before. Is it really good?

Phantasm really scared me as a kid when it first came out.
