Since 15 years of age I have owned to the best that I can remember:
1976 dodge dart
1979 buick skylark
1969 poniac lemans
1977 datsun 280z had 3 2 barrel webber carbs. You laid into to this ride and the read sqatted and took off like a rocket. Traded it in on the 92 hyundai. I was stupid :p
1973 camero
1977 firebird
1979 trans am 6.6 54K original miles bought in FL. Was nice doing 360's on dry pavement
1964 ford econoline van
1968 buick something (huge bomb)
1970 toyota corrola
2 1985 nissan sentra
3 1978 toyota supras

1976 pont GP I dumped in a 1960's something 455 olds super rocket. Did that in auto shop. Was told I couldnt do it. I proved them wrong. This was my fastest car I owned. Ate everything I raced.

When passing someone with this car I dont have to worry about on coming traffic and how far they are away. I have to make sure I have room between the car I am passing and the last oncoming car to go before I pass. Once my foot is in it it doesnt take loong to come up on the car I am over taking.
1998 olds cuttlas repo'd after crap hit the fan getting fired at christmas time because of management take over at the dealership I managed the auto shop.

1985 chevy 1/2 ton 4x4
1985 chevy 1/4 ton
1978 chevy surburban

I am missing alot of other cars. I have owned I would say over 300 since the age of 15, now 34. They are easy disposable money makers when you have the know how on fixing them. I would buy them dirt cheap, lowest I paid for a car was $35 for a 1980 toyota celica. My best friend couldnt believe what I bought. Found it in the local off paper when I lived in Chicago. The guy made the car out to be a big pos. Called and said he was sick and tired of it getting broken into and they just stole his new battery. Went and looked at it and it was mint. No rust, dents, or tore up interior. Told him I would remove it for him at junk yard price since I couldnt hear it run and it was a automatic so I couldnt push start it. Said ok. I went home and cut the battery and cables out of my 1985 camero, spliced the wires in and it ran and shifted like new. Hell it had 70K original miles and the ac even worked.
Got it home stuck in new wires and in two days sold it for $850 to a friend of my best friend.

The most I ever paid for a car was for my 1992 Hyundai excell off the show room floor. Had a bug up my but for a new car and bought it. Turned out to be the biggest POS I have ever owned and in 8 months of owning it it got bought back going through the arbitration (SP) laws.

2nd higest paid was for the 2000 gmc savanna I bought this year.

Other then that ALL of the other cars were $800 or less and needed some kind of basic work. Mostly tune ups and brakes, few of the cutlass's and fieros needed head gaskets which are super easy on the 2.5 tech 4. I would buy them cheap and resell for a few hundred more then I paid for to make a quick profit. I never buy a car with thoughts of owning long. I buy cars knowing that I can resell for alot more then I pay for them.

Like the SHO I just got. My 2000 van I got for 8K. Worth 12K. Used it for the move down here and just traded it for the 1998 jeep and the sho. Got me 12K in cars without putting money down on either. Just a straight trade. Now I am seeling the SHO I just go because I can get $5K for it easily after fixing the problems it had (needed tune up, alignment) then making it sound better by free flowing the exhaust (straight pipe all the way since there is no emmision laws here) making it sound tough as hell. And going to limo tint 5% all around. With what I have done to it and it being silver making it sound tough (have had people come up to me in disbelief (SP) that the Ford Taurus has a v8 under the hood, and not any normal v8 either but a 3.4L made in conjunction with Yamaha racing that has a 7K red line) should fetch me a good buck. Allowing me to buy more cars and make more money ;)

But thats what I do and again I am missing out alot. I have owned well over 300 cars easily. Its an addiction. My first car was the 1976 dodge dart 3 on the tree I bought off a tow truck driver for $50. Needed a rear end. Stuck one in with the help of my dad and resold the car for $800. After that I was hooked and took up all the automotive classes I could to be able to work on everything I buy.

1976 Dodge colt - fun little 5 speed power nuthin, but a complete rust bucket. I think I paid $400 for it in about 1985
1977 Camaro - Another rust bucket. Anything in the N.E. used to rust to pieces in a few years. Drove through college & grad school
1992 Honda Civic - Bought used in 93, lost it in divorce in 2003. Great car
1992 Ford Ranger - What a complete POS. I have no idea why I bought this.
2001 Toyota Tundra - First and probably last new car I've ever bought. Very nice, but when the divorce hit, either the car payment had to go or the mortgage.
1993 Toyota Landcruiser - Current vehicle, bought it on eBay with the equity from the Tundra in 2003. Great truck.

Im 18 and I am on my 4th car since I was 14. My first was destroyed in a tornado (that thankfully went only right in front of my house). Others bought and sold within months. My current car, 90 Celica, Ive had for about a year and a half. These cars werent owned by me personally, my parents paid for them, except for the current one.

3. My first was a 1987 Pontiac Bonneville. I had her for a year or two and then the transmission sh|t the bed. Still my favorite car.... Then I drove a POS 1989 Pontiac Sunbird for a few months until I realized I had dropped over $2k in it and it still broke down every day. That's when I took out an auto loan and bought my present car, a 2001 Saturn SL1. It's so nice having a car that doesn't die 5 times a week. I'm 21 by the way.

i already voted but u need a 10+ option.

I have been driving, my Own vehicles since 1976.

Heck I own 4 vehicles, at this moment, 2 cars, a beater Full size Van,and
a rusty snow plow pickup.

First Vehicle I owned was a 1966 Chevy pickup,
2nd was a 1965 Plymouth Valiant, 4 door with 225 slant 6, automatic, and factory a/c.
