How many beers does it take you to get drunk?

Of course these beers are generally 5+ % abv, but i weigh 220 or so.

This poll needs clarification. Are we talking good old 5% beers or not? Also what do you count as drunk? Happy talker, unsteady on your feet, slured speech, blured vision, completely pissed? Different people have different standards of drunk.

I voted for 4 beers and thats mostely just buzzed/happy talker. But if you mean more drunk than that I'd have to say 8 or so. And that's 5% beers.

I've never been completely pissed on beer so I don't know how many it would take. But for wine it's about one and a half bottles.

Agreed. Should take about that much for me too, and thats also drinking each down at a pretty good rate and having them one right after the other. Now if I was just chillin and drinkin beer all day, I could probably drink beers indefinably and not get drunk.

Yup, if you take it slow you can down 30-40 easily in a span of a full day, especially if your outdoors camping or something. A nice injection of fresh oxygen just lets your body handle more of everything. Some Polish/Czech beer I can only take 4-5 bottles...it's way more powerful and 500ml bottles too.
