i can usually get a normal keg for $55-70

dont think there will be enough people at this place tonight for a full keg, is a pony keg worth it, or just a bunch of 30 packs?

1 barrel = 31.0 US gallons.
1 keg = 1/2 barrel = 15.5 US gallons
1 Pony keg = 1/4 barrel = 7.75 US gallons
1 Corny keg = 5.0 US gallons (I saw this only once and thought it was a joke).

opps forgot this:

1 US gallon = 128 US fluid ounce

128 US Fluid ounces = almost 11 average beers.

So a keg will have 165 beers, 1/2 keg about 85

so a 1/2 keg is like 80 some odd beers? 30's are cheap and easy, but kegs are cool. I'd go for a full keg and finish it off infront of the pats game on sunday, personally.

Kegs go pretty easy. We started throwing a few strings of parties at our place, and about 30-50 people will kill a keg in a night if half of them are drinking
