I am just trying to create a Forum Poll on the above subject to gauge actual Forum member's satisfaction with these mobos.

OOPs, the Poll question should say KT7, not KA7 :) You know what I mean. Is there a way to edit the Poll question?

Be sure to click the icon with the graph to place your vote. I kept it to a simple "Yes", "No", "Undecided"

What's up with people responding to posts or polls if it does not interest them?!?

It also may help people make a decision on whether they want to buy a KT7 or not, based upon the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of fellow forum members using this "stupid" poll.

Very Happy! No Problems Whatsoever! last bios update got the RAID scores up and with tweaking.....I'll save the money I was thinking about spending on a Promise Card! I'm close enough now! I realize there are probably still some "problem boards" out there.....but I'd but a lot of them can be directly related to the owner of said board.......No Jonny.....not all.....most!

Love the KT7-RAID. No problems yet, except for a memory problem that was due to crap memory.

Well, I want to talk about something annoying about this motherboard.

All fans won't shut down when the system goes standby. I think this is a feature that is not supported by VIA KT133 chipsets

Satisfied owner. I wasn't thrilled with the price of SocketA mobos, but my previous board was an Abit BH6 so I went with the KT7.

AMD TBird 750 (can run an 1GHz) on a KT7

Nope. Every A7V I've ever messed with would have the fans spin down in suspend.

<edit> My poll response is a big: "No. Not satisfied". </edit>

Now THAT was a stunning blow to all us KT7 users here at A/T Jonny! (LOL) by the way.......I NEVER use "Stand By" so I can't comment there!

I love my KT7-Raid! The multiplier adjustment in the bios is outstanding. The fan cooling the northbridge is another great feature. No horrible on-board sound, and the inclusion of an ISA slot allows for maximum upgradeability. Also being able to make the memory bus HCLK+PCICLK greatly improves my memory scores. Cheers to all KT7 owners!

Its ok but my sound card is a pain with this motherboard.
It gives me random freeses with many apps like ie, winamp.
There are no conflicts and it has its own irq 9. As soon as I take it out the system works fine. I am ready to smash it with a hammer and set it on fire with a gas torch.
I will buy anything else that will work with my system and would give a fairly decent sound output.
