how many amex cards do you have?

i have 3 amex credit cards, 1 amex charge card

(and 1 amex credit card issued by different bank)

is there a rule of thumbs on how many they allow one to open? i want to open a new card for a different reward (starwood spg)
 
Two, a Blue and a Blue Cash card.

I don't really see the point of having a charge card with a yearly fee when I can have a real credit card with no fee instead.

I pretty much only use the Blue Cash card, but I have no reason to close my other account so I keep it around.

tried to get the rewards one from costco but previous bankruptcy caused it to be denied 🙁

It's worth it if you fly alot - it will get you flight upgrades and those airport clubs (free booz!)

Also charge card is worth it, because a) they won't call you with bullshit protection/credit/whatever services every week and b) customer service is great. They dispute my charges without 30 minute q&a in thick indian accent.

I thought there was a limit on the number of times you got access to those lounges
