Damn, you quoted my typo.
You are right though. They air it on TV too and I was watching it on TV this morning and he looks grimy as fuck. He's reminding me of how Randy Quaid started to just let himself go as he went off the deep end.

The president we need, but not the president we deserve.

People follow leadership though. If Trump wore a mask and took this seriously, we'd be in much better shape.

Sure there would still be people who refuse to wear masks, but their numbers would be a lot smaller than what we have now.

If the ONLY thing tRump had done different was to wear a mask when it was appropriate and not bad mouth wearing one, we would have millions less cases, and 10's of thousands fewer deaths.

Well this brilliant idea took less than 24 hours to fall flat on its face:

Could be worse. Georgia decided overnight camps were a good idea. Half the attendees got Covid. Almost all of the 260 under the age of 18.

Hey, good news, yesterday was only ~1100 deaths and 58k new cases. So a day that we have a little reprieve from the shitty numbers. The bar, it's so low now.

Yeah and that's with the numbers always dipping on the weekend. That's the highest Saturday death toll since the end of May.

Remember, on Thursday Florida shutdown testing because of the hurricane. Since nothing much materialized, expect the numbers to pick up again as the week progresses.

But two 737s crash for realsies? FAA shuts that shit down.

Huh I wasn't aware GA started school so early but after looking into it seems to be a thing. I mean good for other states that will abort their in person learning when this causes a massive statewide outbreak I guess.

That 7 day moving average is concerning. Based on recent infection numbers that's only going one way in the short-medium term. Probably just as concerning with such an uptick in cases are all those who are also likely to suffer long term health impacts. It certainly doesn't look like it's under control right now.

It's completely under control.....control by the virus. Any other way of looking at it is a lie, pure and simple.
