that's a good idea.

I have this one friend... like, I love her to death, but she IM's me within 1 minute after I sign-on, assuming she's online.

But she talks about pure crap. Stuff like what she bought when she went shopping, how she plans on fixing up her studio, and sometimes even about her Neopets.

I like talking to my friends online, but I figure, if you're going to start a conversation with someone, at least have some sort of reason to initiate the talk. Something more substantial than "I bought a jade neclace at the mall today."
