Question How many 140 mm can you really install in front of the be quiet! Pure Base 500DX?

The specs sheet says "3x 120 mm or 1x 140 mm", but when you look at this photo of the front of the case, it looks like you could attach at least two 140 mm fans there, and maybe even three. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!

i think you can do 2... but it may have said that because you might need removal of that lower psu chamber cover.
not 100% sure about it... but i cant see any other reason why it says only 1.

I like BeQuiet cases, they are fairly nice for what you pay you.. you should although also check out the Lian Li O11 series as well, as i think those are very blingy cases and fairly good ones also.

They says it supports a 280mm radiator in the front, so it has to be able to take two 140mm fans. Maybe they wrote it like that because it takes one additional 140 front fan in addition to the one that comes pre-installed. It's a bit weird.

On Be Quiet's website, it shows:



So it supports 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm in the front.

It already has 3 x 140mm fans installed, hence the optional (additional) 140mm fan in the front. Plus, it has room for another 140mm fan on top.

I also found another evidence: Hardware Canucks did a video on this case and Dmitri moved the stock fans around in search of the best configuration. Here we can see the top fan installed at the front, for a total of 2.
