Right now, I've decided to stick with my SXGA CRT for a while---a new monitor is just out of budget.

So, what's needed for SXGA? I know anything like a 7900GTX and above would be complete overkill (Linux user, looking at Nvidia only), but what would I really need for good framerates and high settings?

7900GT?
7600GT?
7300LE? 0_0

This is really just finding out info, I haven't decided when to build. I'm expecting to get a new monitor in several months, and probably an upgrade to a DX10 card shortly after.
