We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. End of extended support is Jan 2020. (This is of course irrelevant to the end of sales dates).
If I had to guess i would say the end of 2014. After all, with a Windows 8 license you are legally allowed to downgrade to Windows 7 and Vista
