How long will the PS3 be available?

Until people stop buying it but you'll have no troubles finding one for sale online for many, many years. You can still to this day find PS2's brand new.
 
The PS2 was manufactured for 13 years. Pretty likely the PS3 will be as well, as Sony shifts their targets to emerging markets. It will still be around for awhile yet.
