How long will the inauguration ceremony be?

Does anyone know for what length of time the presidential inauguration ceremony might last? I'm talking about length of time of coverage by major news networks of the main event. (I need to figure out a rough length of time to estimate that I will unblock streaming video, so that a department can watch the inauguration streaming online...)
 
Cant you just unblock streaming video for that set of users/subnet? Or is there a TV anywhere so you can watch the news and unblock the video 5 mins before, send out the notice, then block it again?

No, unfortunately it's gotta be an all-or-nothing solution right now. I'm working on that issue separately. 🙁

And I can't think of any TVs anywhere in the agency that could be used for that.
 
The ceremony itself is about a minute. The endless happy head color commentary and deep analysis of everybody's clothing choices, body language, the invocation, etc. will start about six hours before the ceremony and end in eight years.

That sounds about right. Don't forget the parade as well....so you can see BO be driven down PA ave! (too much of a security risk for him to get out of the car, I mean tank that looks like a limo).

The actual ceremony is at Noon IIRC. Why not just do the entire day? It will be great watching the police crack down on the smallest transgression!

You would think that Virginia had announced intentions to seceed again. They announced today that all bridges from Virginia to DC as well as both interstate highways inside the beltway will be closed from 2AM to 7PM on the 20th. :roll:

because our users love to watch streaming video, even though they aren't allowed to. the second they find out that it's turned back on, they completely consume all available bandwidth.
 
You should advice the nazis commanders in your slave camp to give people the day off. Who the hell blocks steaming videos?
