How long will my system last?

I was just wondering how much longer my system will be able to do justice to new release games? I have been tweaking different things and I have noticed the thing that makes the most impressive score jumps in 3dmark is o/c'ing the video card. So I was thinking of spending $45 on a video card cooler. Is this worthwhile or should I start putting away my pennies for a Athlon 1.4 or a GF3?

Don't be one of those guys that lives for 3dmark scores...Test it in real-world performance for the games that you play...

Anyways I think the video card would be the next logical step in upgrading as a 900 tbird should be plenty and more and more the vid card is what is really doing the work in the games...GF3 would be a great card and hopefully by the time you are ready the card will have gone down in price quite a bit ( I hate paying more for a vid card then a cpu and mobo together, frekkin ridiculous ) and who knows maybe games will actually be using the features of the GF3 by then...

For now you should be fine...don't live and die by 3dmark scores alone...
