I have a whole pile of leftover lasagna baked 2 days ago, and it's been in the fridge...how many more days do i have until it's spoiled? I covered it nicely in plastic wrap...

any food experts?

After 3-4 days I get leery.. it's probably good a couple days past that though. Would freeze nice though, as mentioned above, divvy it up and freeze some portions.

Hey my mom makes lasagna all the time and we freeze the leftovers. It will last a good two weeks in the freezer. My advice is to take it out of the fridge and stick it in the freezer.

Lasagna is always better the day after it was made, i.e. as leftovers. It will be good for at least a week.

On a side note I just lost some milk. Poured some into my water bottle this morning. Noted the funny smell just before taking a sip. Comptemplated what I previously had in my water bottle that would leave such an odor while taking a sip. Realized that it was the milk with the funny smell as it was going down, since that particular water bottle was reserved for just water. Experation date: four days ago.

Relative to commercial equipment, most home refrigerators barely cut it. You should have a thermometer in there and try and keep everything below 40 F.

Just freeze it to be safe.

you should be able to eat it for weeks afterwards in a regular frig... just scrape the blue fuzzy off and keep the TUMS handy. ;)

I would say a week is realistic.

A week should be close to your limit if you don't feel like freezing it. It'll still edible after about a week, but it'll be really dry and leathery. Eat it soon. :D
