how long will maxtor take to fix a hdd?

they got my hdd on oct 1st. it has the clicking noise after running about 30mins. I formatted before I send it in (my warez and movies 🙁)
just wonder how long they will take to fix it! when they send it back to me, I will have 160gbs 😀

do they not just send you a fixed one and keep the non-functioning one to work on?

Don't they do advanced RMA where they send you a hdd first, and you return the broken one within 30 days?

as far as i know... u send it to them... after they recieve... they send u a refurbed hd. they keeps ur's to fix... they send out to the next person who rma's a drive.
