Bought some eggs, came back, forgot they were in the bag with the bread:roll: They were out on the counter for awhile.

Still good?

do the hardboiled trick, try spinning an egg on the counter, if it spins, it has hardened inside and it is bad.

I'd gather not long. Couple hours tops.

Shorten time if sitting out in a hot car which would make me think like 20-30 minutes tops.

How long do they last under the chicken unrefrigerated? Quite some time.

Yep. Room temperature is the norm in many other countries.

Many recipes that call for eggs produce better results with room temperature eggs, for what it's worth.

on the submarine the eggs were kept in the bildge , not in the refridgerator (no room)
so they were at maybe 45-50F for 2-3 weeks and they were ok.

so a couple hours at room temp will NOT be a problem, scramble away
