How long will dog food last unopened?

I'm assuming months and months and forever.

Purina Dog Chow (hard, dry kibble). I'm wondering how long it will last before the dogs won't eat it/it gets bad for them

longer than the dog

Dry stuff lasts for at least a few months... WOul dbe fine until summer.

Leaving it out in the summer might have an affect on it though.
