OP needs to specify battery chemistry!
9VRECT is available in normal, heavy duty, alkaline, and lithium. They will feature differing runtimes. None have a particularly high ampere-hour rating due to the higher voltage requiring small cells to be in series. The Li is going to be the best as it only uses three cells AFAIK.
It also depends on the LED and the driving circuitry. A naked LED will burn out very quickly if attached directly to a 9V battery.
