LOL no. The 2500k @5ghz which is a very common, and obtainable overclock for the SB chips, will smoke the 4670k @4.6ghz by a mile-
Remember, gaming is all about core frequency, not additional threads, or advanced instructions. I own a 2500k and it runs a 5.0ghz 24-7/365 for over 2 years now. I rape 4670k's all day long, Pci-e 3.0 is useless unless you have 3-4 Titans and are playing at resolutions higher than 2560x 1440p. Even then the increase is 1-3% depending on the game. A 2500k will power any 2 gpus (including the 780ti/Titan Ultra)@pci-e 2.0 and you won't come near the 5gb data limit, tested and proven. The 2500k will go down in history as Intel's fastest gaming chip produced to date, mostly because it's famed overclock potential and ability to dissipate heat better than any other chip out there. Btw, I'm on air in a tiny Antec 300 case.
