How long until Tech TV Officially Sells Out?

Tech TV from three years ago was great. They focused on tech news, graphics cards, gadgets. Generally cool stuff.

Then they got rid of the tech guys on The Screen Savers and replaced them with these clueless young kids (Kevin excluded).

Then they killed the tech news show.

Now the worst is coming. They are replacing computer shows with car shows (Whip Set rofl). I predict by next year Tech TV will sell out and be nothing but Anime, Car Shows, and Console Game reviews.

Same thing happened to the Discover Channel/TLC...

Is Tech TV Doomed to become another sell out car channel?

techtv is/was great.
g4tv, on the other hand, can nibble on crusty dingleberries for what they've done to techtv after acquiring it. :|

it's funny how often this happens. Remember MTV? what the hell? then they made MTV2 and if i'm not mistaken the same crap is starting to happen... now the discovery channel has discovery science, which is cool but you know it's gonna suck eventually too.

so a cool channel comes out, it's really great, then it sells out and starts to suck. Then they make a "classic" or "alternate" version of the channel which is supposed to be good again, but then THAT one starts to suck so they make ANOTHER FRIGGIN CHANNEL and the whole shebang starts all over again.

what I want to know is, are there really that many people that just don't care about crappy television? Are they that starved for something to do that they'll just sit in front of the tv and watch absolute garbage because there's nothing else on?

these shows in all their sucking glory would not stay on the air if people didn't watch them!!!
