It's already started: NBC, CNN, NPR, etc.

Sandy is the new normal. A series of new, catastrophic weather patterns that are the direct result of man-made global warming.

Obama is for Solyndra: using tax-payer dollars to reward campaign contributors who in turn bankrupt companies. But it's okay as long as the INTENTION was to create clean, renewable energy.

Romney is for cheap, domestic energy: the raping of the earth through fracking, drilling, pipeline production, combustion of fossil fuels, and the production of more CO2.

I frankly think that both policies are fucked.

But the point is, how long before we see the Obama campaign via TV ads or otherwise between now and Tuesday attempt to blame the "policies of the past that Romney embraces" for the creation and destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy?

I am betting we will hear/see this rhetoric before this weekend!

Let me know when you run into an actual liberal that thinks the way you think they do.

Step 1: Find articles discussing whether Sandy is indicative of global climate change.

Step 2: For no apparent reason, somehow conclude from this that Obama is going to blame Romney for global climate change.

Step 3: Profit?

Well, the fact is that many, many scientists believe Sandy's force IS directly related to the record losses of Arctic ice this year. That doesn't mean it's Romney's fault, or anybody else's. What you fail to understand is that these scientists aren't interested in politicizing issues, they just want the politicians to listen to them since, you know, they're smarter than them.

I think the better question is how long until Romney runs an ad blaming Obama for not doing enough to stop Global Warming resulting in Sandy ;)

I am not sure they will go that route. After the season of 05 all the global warming fanatics told us that was the new normal. Since 05 hurricane seasons have been pretty calm.

I think the fundamental problem is that a lot of people have entrenched themselves so far in a mindset of "us versus them" that they have a hard time separating out base events from something that has a political spin.

My bet, never. Obama has enough material to work with already.
