How long until marinated beef spoils?

We can't remember when we started to thaw these steaks. I think it might have been two weeks ago. A few days before Christmas, I put them in a bag of marinade - some vinegar, salt, and blackberry jam.

How long does refrigerated and marinated steak last?

Open the bag and try it out! I doubt it would have gone bad, though.

 

I wouldn't eat beef that has been sitting in my fridge for 2 weeks.

Well, with the vinegar and salt combo, the meat is probably still good. That combo will kill most bacteria for a few days.

Also, were there any air in the bag when you closed it? And how cold do you normally keep your fridge?
