How long until BTX is a viable option?

it'll never be a viable option. only intel will benefit from it because of their damned heat issues. there's no good reason as to why btx should ever come out. it just costs money for very little benefits.
 
I think it's a step in the right direction - regardless of platform, although I've read recently AMD is shying away from it. Read here to learn about more differences between ATX and BTX.

I've been hearing about BTX for what seems like forever. I hope it'll become widely adapted soon.
