so i brought my notebook in to get the screen repaired (i tried replacing the inverter and that didnt fix it, so i figured this would be cheaper/easier then buying a new screen which is ~200)
originally the guy wants to charge me $200, but when i start walking out he agrees to $125, says it will take 4-5 days
I put $40 down and told him i would pay the rest when it was fixed...went in with my notebook 2 days later, i had just left the screen, but then he had no way to test it and there was some light coming through, but it wasnt totally fixed yet, then he said he wanted the remainder of the money, i told him "I will pay him when its fixed" and after some argueing he agrees (he claimed i should pay him upfront because he charged so little
now its been 2 weeks since the last test, i called him friday and he said what he thought was the problem wasnt it and he had to try something else...I havent heard from him since.
I didnt get a chance to call today, but will again in the morning again..what should i do if he says its still not fixed? He always says 4-5 days, but I really need my notebook back by around next monday with or without a screen (i have an external i can use)
(and i took the harddrive so im not worried about him going through my stuff)
