How Long To Ghost 15GB?

I am Ghosting from my old hdd to my new one. It's been 20 minutes but it shows 2:36 elasped time and about 5% complete. I guess it's hung. Do I just restart? Will there be any problems with my original partition?

What version of ghost are you using? It took ghost 2002 5-10 minutes to transfer about 8 gigs of data on a 20 gig IBM 60gxp drive to an 80gig western digital 8mb cache drive (master ibm/slave wd) on IDE.

The version that comes with Norton System Works 2002.

it shouldnt take long. A heavily fragmented 10GB drive takes about 30 min. If you de-frag first, that would speed things up.

I defraged yesterday in preperation for this. I guess I'll restart and see what happens.
