how long to defrag?

Im defragging my HD for the first time since a format ( :Q ) and using the built in defragger on windows (winxp) its at 1% after 15 minutes. :Q The analyze thing gave me a 25%/50% fragmented rate, so this will take days before its done at this rate. And its only 20 gigs. how long does this crap usually take?

if it is bad, i usually let it go overnight. I prefer 3rd party defraggers, though.
