How long till I call ?

I asked a girl out last weekend, and she told me she had to go out of town, but to call her next week (this week) to do something this coming weekend. Any suggestions on when to call ? Should I do it today, or wait a couple of days. i am really anxious to call her, but I dont want to seem like a weirdo.

I think the earlier the better - that way she probably hasn't made plans for this coming weekend. (Even if she has, you have more flexibility on when to go out)
