How long should my cell phone take to activate?

I bought a new Bell Mobility phone today and the lady said it technically takes 24 hours to activate but normally it'll work within an hour. Well now it's been 4 hours and still no go. Call tech support?

every time i have had it done it was instant.

when the lady called tech support for an activation code i was not even in the system...

an interesting thought is that i slipped thru the cracks, got a phone, but never wil be signed into contract or receive a bill 😀
