How long should I wait before filing a claim?

Well...I ordered something from a reseller on Amazon.com on Dec 14th, and it shipped on Dec 15th via USPS. I even requested expedited shipping. Today is the 24th, and it still hasn't arrived and there is no tracking information.

It was only $12.00 part including shipping. Since it's the holidays, how long do should I wait before making any calls?
