How long should I give an ebay buyer to pay?

I require paypal, so it's not like it should take them much time at all. It's been five days and i've sent two invoices and a reminder.

You should have stated a payment time period in your auction. Every time I sell on Ebay I state that payment must be made within 48 hours after the end of the auction. If you didn't state a time period, then give them no more than a week.

I think the rules of ebay state that a buyer must pay within 7 days before a non-paying buyer report can be filed.

I specifically state no more then 72hrs after the auction ends.

I got this email saying he couldn't pay until 5 days after the auction ended. I let him have it but he was nice in emailing me up front about his paypal problem. He seems geniune and I'm not in desperate need of the £££ right away.

Give him 2-3 more days and see if he will reply.

Make sure you always state a payment time frame in your auctions. But yeah, Give him the full 7 days.

I always state 48 hour payment time period and shipping within 48 hours of recieving payment. I always ship the next business day or same day if the payment is early in the day and I am not at work. 😉

1 week max then send 1 more email..after that do what you have to do..give them -ve feedback for sure
