How long is US Route One?

I remember seeing a show on the history channel about it and my friends and I are debating its length. DOes anyone know how long route one is from Maine to the Keys? I looked on google, but had no luck.

I thought U.S. 1 was Ohio to the keys.

I-95 is the Maine->Miami road.

US 1 does go into Maine. It was around before the Interstate system was even dreamed about.

However long I-95 is, that's pretty much how long Rt 1 is. It almost parallels 95 for most of its course.

 

I grew up near it and i-95 in Cocoa Florida....

95 actually ends about 155 miles before US 1 does.
