Are you satisfied with your performance thus far and at what point in time do you plan to upgrade? Have you overclocked it and at what speeds are you running it. What are your custom setting for playing games.

I am still running mine at stock speeds 324/311
Play game at 4X AA 16X AF

I'll probably upgrade when the next generation of videocards comes out, and drops in price a bit.

Have had mine since last December, I'll be "upgrading" to an AIW 9600pro when they're available.

Ive had mine since January. Ill probably upgrade to the next generation card (AKA R420). Basically...I won't upgrade till the next card is more than just a speedbump (AKA 9800 Pro).

I've had mine since March and I don't think I'll be upgrading any time soon.

I've had mine for less than a month now. It was an upgrade from GeForce3 Ti200. I was extremely pleased with this card. :)

That Ti200 lasted me about a year, so I guess I won't be upgrading for another year or two. I vowed not to upgrade my computer ever again last year, but I couldn't resist getting the 9700 Pro... :-/

Don?t get an FX 5900 Ultra it sucks ... plus an FX6000 or whatever the NV360 is coming out like in 1 month

Ive got an Albatron FX 5900 but u can overclock 50Mhz to make it an Ultra on the core anyway Ram runs at the same 850Mhz as the ultra

anyways i think the 9700 Pro runs games smoother ... more constant frame rate .. wheres the FX 5900 does get a higher FPS but doesn?t maintain it for long on stressful parts where its gotta render a large area.
It goes down to 20FPS .. wheres the 9700 pro in the same thing stays at 35 FPS ... :) ... ive tested it a lot and i'm using latest 45.23 drivers AMD 3200+

I got the Albatron FX 5900 card because I?ve got an Albatron Nforce2 board so I wanted to get a more stable computer.

Otherwise I would have got the 9800 Pro ? ohh well doesn?t matter in 1 years time I?ll be getting the best value top of the rang card out at the time. And the 5900 will have a home as a hand-me-down.

I've had my 9700Pro for about a year and it has been great. The kid is running more graphic intensive games now, so I have a 9800Pro on it's way in a day or two for me and the 9700Pro goes to him ;)
