I have 3 Athlon XP comps that run 24/7, and I never really noticed much of a difference.

My computer is always on though I restart periodically due to software installs and sh!tty nForce IDE drivers.

ROFL!

i just got a drunk dial actually, which brings me to this, courtesy of my brilliant roommate:
do not drink a 2 story beer bong, then try to race some guy... you will vomit.
the end.

Back when I made a seperate gaming and internet computer I was able to keep the gaming machine up for a little over a month.

The internet machine has to be restarted every two weeks. Or once a week if I'm file-sharing.

Maybe this belongs on the Distributed Computing Forum, but is there a record for a normal x86 Windows based machine? Maybe like a year or more?

Since whenever the last power outage was. The power was off for over an hour so my UPS battery died.

Don't you just love interruptable uninterruptable power supplies? 😉

71 days 21 hours 38 minutes since last reboot. Most of that time encoding video jobs - with some Simcity time thrown in and of course normal interent use. Wonder now how long it will go. (XP)
