How long for USPS shipping

How long does it usually take for a small package (a DLT tape) to be shipped USPS from CA to CT? I ordered a DLT tape from a vendor and they were shipping USPS (should have done UPS) for free so I took that. They said they shipped it on Monday and it's not Saturday and I haven't seen it yet.

What was it sent by? Priority, First-class, media, etc.?

If they shipped for free, perhaps they might have shipped it via media mail. That'll take about a week or two to ship I'm guessing. I bought a book shipped via media mail from the east coast to CA. It came 1.5 weeks later. But if they shipped via first class or priority, it should have been there by now.

It has taken 2 weeks for a first class envelope to reach Kansas being sent from Wisconsin.....and yes, I checked the postmark date to verify when it was sent.


So, who knows.....

I finally got an e-mail back from them and there was a mistake. They now say that the package was shipped UPS on the 6th and they gave me a trackin number. Should be here on Monday.
