How long should it take to run scandisk on a 30 GB drive? It's a 7200 RPM 66 for however much that makes a difference.
 
Standard scan or a full surface scan? A standard scan should only take a few seconds, maybe 30 or so max. A full surface scan could take 15 minutes or more (though I don't think it would actually take quite that long).
 
Depends a little bit on how much data you have on it. I ran it on an empty 30 Gig 7200 rpm drive last night. Took about a half hour with surface scan enabled, I think, but I didn't pay too much attention to the time. Why, what's the problem?
