Are you paying your professor to pass you after you failed your 4 minute and 49 second test?

Have you tried visiting/calling your local banks?

If you have accounts with a credit union try them first.

If you have accounts with a regular bank, try them also.

It's best to call first and ask them what's the turn around time on a $2k personal loan? If they say a few minutes, that's good BUT sometimes loans aren't quick & easy ... if the computer approves you then it's a quick 5 minute process ... otherwise if a loan officer has to look at it then it could take 1-2 business days. Just to be safe I would go to your CU/bank armed with some documents especially your most recent 2 paystubs and even last year's W-2 statement. I know it's asking a lot for you to pick up a phone, go to the bank and bring them documents but wouldn't it suck if they say yes you're approved but only after we see your income verification? Better to be prepared than not.

Try Bank of America, they declined me for a $1,200 personal debt consolidation loan in 4 minutes about 8 years ago, I am still pissed about that.

"Not only did I take the test and ace it, but I did it in 5 MINUTES!!! I timed myself to see what would have happened that day...it took me exactly 4 min and 49 seconds. I know what i'm capable of and I didn't need no fruity little proffesor tell me I couldn't do it. So now I have an A in the class. The next step is finding something to read on anger managment"

I did pass it. I will post pics of my grades when I recieve them. BTW, the test was all multiple choice.

The loan is to buy a car I saw today. The lady is sacrificing it cause she wants a truck.

I second the Credit union choice ... It took me 5 minutes to get approved for my car loan to be refinanced ... it it was at a rate MUCH lowwer than i was paying before

It might be even easier to get a loan if you get a used car loan, you'll even get a better rate BUT it will take at least 2-3 business days to process the loan. The woman will have to bring her car and car title to your bank and sign some forms, etc. your bank may require a vehicle inspection which is really basic and quick. Plus with a used car loan you'll definitely get a better interest rate (6-8%) rather than a personal loan (13-16%).

I don't know about it being easier to get a used car loan. I got denied for a used car loan 3 different times for the same car. I first applied by myself, then cosigned by my sister who worked for the bank, and then cosigned by my dad. I turn around about 3 months later, go to the dealership that had the exact car I wanted, put in my loan application. Well... by my sig you can tell I got accepted. I just don't get how I couldn't get it for a used car, but I had a brand new one overnight.

What is your interest rate? Was it the same bank/finance place each time(new and used)? Also did you have any dramatic credit changes i.e. new job or paid down a credit card?

I got a 3000.00 dollar loan over the phone and the whole thing took less than 10 mins.
