How long does XO sauce keep in the fridge?

Just bought some from the chinese supermarket. How long will it keep after opening? My guess is forever?

look at the sodium content..probably salted to last forever...or until the taste goes off

some brands will have the expiration date listed (on the tin cap). With oil products, you can still use it until it smells "stale."

it's XO, probably lee kum kee

there are lot of other brands in the market too, some are downright ripoffs, but some i see have very nice packaging (compare to LKK). Taste wise I never did a comparison so i don't know. but there is no set definition / industry standard of a what a XO Sauce should be, so many company can add whatever and call it XO Sauce.
