How long does raw hamburger stay in the fridge?

Spinoff, i have had a pound of raw hamburger in my fridge from the freezer since Thursday night. How long will it last? Will it still be good to make something to eat today?

4 days is pushing it, but still should be good. Just give it a good sniff.

I don't like to go past 5-6 days.

If it's starting to brown throw it out. Should still have a nice red appearance. And not smell like @ss.

If it's from the freezer to the fridge it should be fine. It'll take quite a while to thaw in the fridge.

should be ok if you cook it tonight. From the freezer takes a day or so to thaw, and then another 3 days tops.

1-2 days if you're making hamburgers.

2-4 days if you're making spaghetti sauce or some other type of sauce where the meat isn't as critical.

Any longer than that and it may still be safe, but it sure as hell won't be worth eating.

It usually stays in the fridge until you pick it up and toss it out. Unless it grows legs.
