How long does raw chicken last refridgerated?

I bought some chicken a few days ago and have had it in the refridgerator. How long does chicken last without being frozen? I would call my mom but I can't find my phone.

i'd guess you're okay, but that's only cause i see chicken in refrigerated packages at the grocery store.

 

It lasts as long as it says on the label "before freezing".

It is fine. Just make sure the center reaches at least 160F.

as long as it still looks like chicken, you can just cook it long enough, and it'll be ok

2-3 days after it's thawed. After that you can still eat it if you cook it thoroughly, but it won't taste good.

Smell it. Does it smell like much of anything? If so, throw it out. Same goes for fish. Both should have almost no smell.

a few days. if u have already waited a few days quickly toss the thing into the oven and roast it. cooking it buys you time

If you have any doubt at all, throw it out. The results of ingesting bad chicken are less than pleasant.
