How long does NewEgg's "processing time" take?

If I order some computer parts tomorrow morning, will they ship out same day?

I'm trying to get my new system shipped to me by the end of the week. If I order tomorrow and do FedEx 2day, will I receive it in time?

i believe they have a $3 fee if you absolutely must have it ship out the same day.

but, from my experiences, they ship the same day......providing yoru credit goes through without a hitch.

If you order early morning or late tonight, then very likely it will get there by end of week. Have you ordered from there before? If you have, check on some of those order statuses and see how long it took.

i have not ordered from NewEgg before, but they have the best prices.

90% of the time they ship the same day in my experiences. Just order now or early as possible and it will definatley go out tomorrow.

FedEx Express is $15 to ship (3-5 days)
FedEx 2day is $30 to ship 2 days

Since they don't ship Saturdays, I guess I'll have to get the 2day, huh?

i wouldnt bother with the 2nd day. im sure others will tell you the same. i live in nj, do normal shipping and i get stuff buy thursday ordering on monday morning with the "rush order processing"

that was a monitor and keyboard, btw. not sure if they feel the need to get that out of their warehouse quickly. but it just seems like its not worth the extra money if it is basically going to get there just as quickly anyway.

I placed an order LATE thursday night (it was around 4:20PM PST) I was hoping that it MIGHT get packed and sent that day, but it didn't get sent until friday and recieved monday (overnight shipping, obviously why I wanted it sent thursday night)

Want my experiances? They've shipped to me, SameDay, only once out of six times. All of which, I had Rush Service and NextDay Air. It really burnt me this lasttime because they had more than enough time, I called to make sure they varified my address in a timely matter so it WOULD get out that day, and they said it would. What happens? It didn't go out. So they ship it out on a Friday! Yay! NextDay=Monday! They did refund $15 of the shipping costs because I bitched them out.

Seems everyone else has 10Xs better luck with them then I do. That's from ordering anywhere from 8PM Est (5PM their time, that means they got it just before they closed and had the rest of the next day to get it out), 8AMPacific, and other various times. The best one was when they didn't get my LCD monitor out, sameday. I called the next day to see what was the problem and the girl said they had problems packaging it. Oh, that makes sense. Because they DO package pre-boxed monitors! :-\

I'd be a jerk if I didn't say they got my whole computer out, for me, SameDay w/ NextDay Air the first time I ordered with them. And that was with like 13 items.

I still love Newegg.

Even on some of the times I don't pay the extra 2.50 they ship it out on the same day.

If you live in California you will get it in two days anyway. I usually get my order the day after it ships.

I know I was pushing my luck hoping it'd get sent that night, however this was also one case where if saturday delivery were an option I would have paid for it.

all of my "recent" shipments from newegg ordered early in the day have been sent out the same day, without doing the "rush" option.

Back in around maybe late 2001, they were quite a bit slower at getting the order out, but they have become quite fast for the most part.

Newegg shipping is as follows: For transcontinental (From Newegg's La Puente "City of Industry" California facility to Baltimore, Maryland with "Super Saver" shipping - usually free), an order placed ANY time prior to 5PM Monday will arrive by Friday unless there is a credit card error (Newegg has issues with my family's VISA cards, rejecting them as invalid numbers no matter how many times I reenter them. Discover, however, works flawlessly). Orders rarely ship same day, even if you use the 'rush' option. They also don't ship on weekends. All orders placed over the weekend will ship on Monday REGARDLESS of the rush option. LCD monitors from them tend to be drop shipped from the manufacturer, however, and cna take longer.

I order a LOT from NewEgg and if you order Sunday you have by Tuesday or Wednesday latest. Usually 2-3 days for me. California to Floriduh. Never has been longer but I have also never ordered anything out of stock.

Just got a DVD yesterday from Discount DVD that I ordered Aug 17th and that they shipped on the 27th. How bad is that???? Wasnt in a hurry for it but still.

They're really good in my experience. Their service is so good that I don't even bother to shop around much. And their prices, while not always the absolute best, are usually good enough that I don't risk ordering from someone else anymore.

I live in Minnesota. For some reason, I always seem to order from them on sunday nights. I never pay for the rush service. My orders have always gone out on Monday, and amazingly, Fed Ex saver shipping usually gets it here on Wednesday.

I've ordered thousands of $ worth of stuff from them and they have always shipped my stuff out the same day. I even paid the extra $3 once but since they always seem to ship same day, I don't bother with the extra charge anymore.

My orders used to always go out the same day assuming I ordered before a reasonable time.

In the past 4-6 weeks, only two of my 10-12 orders shipped the same day. On 5 of the orders that did not ship, I paid the $2.99 rush fee, ordered before 10AM PDT, no problems with my credit card ('successfully charged' email within minutes of placing the order), and all items came from their main warehouse.

Between this and the other threads about people getting obviously used parts from them, I'm wondering what's up - new owners? financial problems?

I think the cut-off time for same day shipping is 2pm PST. If I order my stuff before 2pm, I always get it by the next day. But then I think Newegg's warehouse is only like 2 hrs drive away from LA?
