I had my dell inspiron 5150 for about 3 and a half years now. I'm finding that when I switch the brightness of my screen down to its lowest, the screen slowly gains this weird reddish colour all over. When I bring the brightness back up, it goes away slowly. I'm guessing this is a normal sign of aging, since a colleague of mine had that happen too, except his case was way worse. Probably nothing I can do here, but:
- What exactly causes this redness?
- About how long would it take (anyone's guess I suppose) for it to get bad enough that it won't go away even if my screen is at full brightness?
