I've had some jello mixed up as the box said for the past 3 hours or so however it's still a complete liquid.

The box says it makes 4 1/2 cup servings however i made 6 1/3 cup servings or so and so I'd imagine the powder was an equal amount.

Is it supposed to be a complete liquid for this long?

Btw... jello shots FTW :D

jello shots? You mean, you used alcohol in place of water? Ummm, if you followed the recipe for water, I think you're going to be disappointed. It's not going to solidify.

LOL, maybe you should put it in the freezer. You need to put in enough water to counter the anti freeze nature of the alcohol or you'll never get the jello shots to solidify.

yeah, y ou prob used too much alky, it'll be slimy and goey. Usually its a better idea to do it in little shot glasses rather than a large pan, makes it get cold faster.

Jello shots don't solidify very well. You either need extra powder or to put them in the freezer to work. At least that recipe you linked had half water, you probably aren't too far from solidification. Some people try all alcohol and can never get them to solidify.

Just for those who care, it did turn out slimy and I'm going to try another batch sometime with 2/3 to 3/4 being water, that might work a little better.

Anyone have a mixture that they know works?
