With a standard 4.7GB DVD-R how long does it take you to burn on high quality?Just wondering cuz it takes me a good 2-2.5 hours to fully analyze it and encode it and finally burn it on DVD shrink.Am I doing something wrong?

I can backup one in about 1 hr if its 1.5 hrs long. The longer it is the more you have to compress it which takes a ton of time. I usually split it after the compression reaches 70% with 100% being no compression.

I had some to stutter but it ended up being crappy Memorex discs. I also burn at 1x to be safe.

I use either DVD decrypter or DVD fab to rip then Shrink to encode and Decrypter to burn.

Analyzing + Encoding (Due to that "deep analysis" open checked) takes me about 1-1.5 hours, burning takes me 5 mins.

Are you doing anything on your computer when you're encoding it?
