how long does it take whey protein to go bad?

I have some gnc whey protein that i bought 2 years ago thats about 2/3rd full. I'm looking to start working out again and was wondering if this stuff ever goes bad. It was stored well and looks and smells fine.

There should be some sort of identifying number and a phone number to call. If you can tell them the number they can probably tell you if it's still good.
