How long does it take to get a PS3 back?

My PS3 was having some weird USB problems. After the 1.6x update, they seemed to stop working. After further testing, I noticed they DID work in linux...just not the PS3 OS. After a while, I found out that if I plugged in my controller to the PS3 before turning it on, it might start charging. I got by like that for a while, but just decided to replace it. The USB ports are pretty important, and they were being pretty useless.

I got my shipping box on Tuesday of last week, but didn't get to ship my PS3 back to Sony until Wednesday.

I live in Indiana, and it was going to Texas.

Has anyone had any experiences with this? Any guestimates as to when I'd actually get my PS3 back?

I'm just curious...in no hurry (though I am missing Warhawk), but I figured I better make a PS3 topic if there's one for the 360. ;)

Once I got my box to send it back to Sony which took like 2 days, I shipped it to them on a Monday morning and I believe I got it back Friday of that week. I live in Texas though so that made things go a little faster.

Heh, but I really did send mine in, and I really am curious. That 360 post made me think of asking.

Yeah...living in Texas probably made it just a bit faster.

I would expect it sometime between a week and a half to two weeks and a half from the day you ship it out.
