Depends - as you know beer can be digested quickly. Other foods can take hours.

I've eaten a big pizza dinner before and vomitted it up to 6 hours later and still had thick parts of food. This is because I ate too much and my body couldn't digest it in time...I'm not sure how fast something like a piece of chicken would digest if your stomach was empty and the chicken hit your intestines quickly though.
